Player Code of Conduct

PLAYER CODE OF CONDUCT

Integrity Soccer Club's ambition is to be regarded as a highly respected, family friendly club that has a professional coaching/training staff that operates with a high level of Integrity.  We strive to make our facilities be a place where other clubs experience a welcoming atmosphere that they look forward to returning to.   Integrity Soccer Club will support the local soccer community, including recreational programs, in order to improve the overall level of soccer in Central Illinois.

By becoming a member of Integrity Soccer Club, players are agreeing to:

1.)  Conduct themselves at all times in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner.

2.)  Do their best to attend all practice sessions and games, and at all times follow the instructions of the coaches.

3.)  Not engage in disruptive or disrespectful behavior during practice sessions or games towards fellow teammates, other team players, the coaches, the referee, or spectators.

4.)  Not engage in any bullying, antagonism, foul or abusive language, or other intimidation of teammates or other team players.

5.)  Understand that soccer is a team sport.  Teams "win together and lose together".  Expressing sentiment such as "I am the best on the team" or "we could not have won that game without me" is unacceptable behavior and will not be tolerated by the coaching staff.

6.)  Demonstrate a willingness to learn the game of soccer, and actively participate in drills, exercises and scrimmages.

7.)  Understand and accept that their placement on teams may very from season to season.

8.)  Dress neatly, the uniform will be clean and in good condition.

9.)  At practice and games, ensure playing areas and sidelines are kept clean, and all waste and trash is disposed in the proper receptacles.

10.) Properly represent our soccer club and our community at all games and practices.

Players who are unable to follow the expectations described above and the adopted Integrity Code of Conduct will be disciplined as seen fit by the club.  As a note, disciplinary action may take the form of your child not being permitted to play as a result of your actions.
